Because everybaby deserves an equal start to life.
With many young Queensland families facing difficult times, Sunkids are proud to continue supporting a local Queensland charity, Baby Give Back, with their mission of delivering essential baby items to families most in need.
Baby Give Back is a charity based in Varsity Lakes that provides essential baby items to Gold Coast and Brisbane families in crisis. They do this by collecting baby essentials donated from the local community and purchased through fundraising efforts. They then distribute those items via social service agencies to ensure they get to families in need.
This year, Baby Give Back is heavily focusing on providing hygiene, safety, and dignity to families this year; with the devastating impact of the pandemic and floods has had across Australia.
Sunkids are proud to support Baby Give Back this year by running a Collection Drive at our Centres between the 25th of November to the 16th of December 2022 and a Fundraising Drive where we aim to raise $5,000.
You, too, can support Baby Give Back through financial donations, donating your time through volunteering efforts, or donating new or gently-used essential baby items.
Collection Drive
25th of November – 21st of December
Through December, our Brisbane and Gold Coast Centres will have donation containers within the foyer for any families and community members who wish to donate. The Centres will also have a more specific list of what items families are needing most. Every donation helps and we appreciate the generosity.
We will be gathering the following essentials for children and adults in need:

Disposable and new cloth nappies

RKids & Adult Toiletries
New or unopened toiletries for babies, children and adults
- RMaternity & Breast pads
- RNew wraps
- R0000 onesies
Fundraising Drive
25th of November – 25th of December
Over 504 children are already on Baby Give Back’s waiting list, the demand for service has increased beyond what anyone could have predicted. From the pandemic, to the floods, to the cost of living crisis; there are a lot of families desperately needing our help.
In December, Baby Give Back aims to raise $100,000 for families in crisis. Sunkids are proud to support Baby Give Back in this goal by aiming to raise $5,000 across our Centres. Furthermore, Sunkids Management will match families’ donations of up to our $5,000 target. With your help and contribution, this means we can raise $10,000 towards Baby Give Back’s $100,000 goal.

Baby Give Back relies on donations from generous supporters to be able to provide good quality, safe baby equipment for families in crisis in South-East Queensland.
If you’d like to support Baby Give Back further you can do so through financial donations. This can be done securely online, where you’ll receive a tax-deductible receipt for any donations over $2.
There are also a variety of volunteering roles in the Baby Give Back warehouse, on collection days, and roles from home.
