Learning at Sunkids incorporates our own emergent curriculum, play-based learning opportunities, and industry best practice to provide your child with a quality early education and the very best start to their life.
Our learning isn’t just confined to inside, as our educators look to create significant learning opportunities by setting up invitations to play throughout all areas of our centre. Each time our children enter a room or outdoor area, they will be met with brand new play opportunities that spark genuine excitement, curiosity, and creativity.
By incorporating real-life experiences, the children’s interests and key elements such as literacy, mathematics and science into the children’s play experiences, children are exposed to these educational foundations in the most engaging and exciting way.

Healthy Food your Kids will Actually Eat.
Healthy eating is a priority at all Sunkids centres, and it’s no different at Yeronga. There’s no need to pack a lunchbox, as our on-site chef prepares morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the children each day. Plus, we cater for all dietary requirements upon request. Our meals ensure all the little tummies are full with healthy and nutritious food to support their learning and daily activities. There’s also complimentary fruit available in our reception foyers each day.
Our alternating weekly menus change throughout the seasons and are perfect for even the fussiest of eaters. The menus are planned in advance by incorporating nutritional needs, the children’s input and our parent’s suggestions.
Mealtimes are special at Sunkids, as children enjoy social interaction through our alfresco dining piazzas. Children are encouraged to serve themselves and others, interact with each other and enjoy beautiful food and conversation within a relaxed and unrushed environment.
For our babies who are just starting out on solid food, we provide a range of food options suitable to their age, such as pureed fruits and foods, rice puddings, and more.
